Today I turn 44. Every year grew me a little. Some gently, some the hard way. Today I’m celebrating all of it.

Nobody grows in a straight line. Here’s the short version of mine.

Season 1
Planted
It started small: a curious kid with big feelings and even bigger questions. I didn’t have the answers yet. I just kept asking.

Season 2
Weathered
Not every season was sunny. There were storms I wasn’t sure I’d walk out of. I did. Not alone, and not all at once.

Season 3
Rooted
Roots grow in the dark, where nobody sees them. Honest people, hard conversations, and one honest day after another. That’s where the strength came from.

Blooming
Today: husband, father, friend, connector. My whole job is helping people, and I get to do it with a full heart. Still growing, every single day.
